Caryn was welcomed to the Rio Vista family as a licensed Veterinary Technician in March of 2021. She graduated from Alfred State College and became licensed in 2008, and has enjoyed working with small animals for the length of her career.
Caryn likes all aspects of her job but particularly takes interest in client education and disease pathology. She also has a soft spot for cats and makes it a priority to help the stressed and anxious ones feel better about visiting the hospital. But if you really want to see her light up, just bring a bunny to her.
Caryn has a life long passion for horses and enjoys riding in her spare time. She also fancies her flock of chickens and turkeys and very much loves spending time with them.
At home Caryn and her family enjoy time spent together, usually outside working on the farm. In her free time she likes to indulge in a fancy cup of coffee with a knitting project in her hands.
